"We arrived at Arenal late at around 11:30 PM or just after that. Tired but grateful. Rest of the party had plenty of time to relax for the onward trip. Arenal resort was the cheapest of all the hotels we stayed in but was the cleanest and the best. The resort is more on American standard. as the room arrangement, space, amenities like refrigerator with bottled water and yes beer were great. Even walking around the resort with lust vegetation made it the best of all the places we went to. The food at the resort was also good."

"The resort was beautiful and clean and the staff was very helpful. The only problem we had was paying our bill at the bar and resturant. It took the staff a very long time to figure out how much we needed to pay in American dollars. All in all......it was FABULOUS!!"

"No regular pool, just the hot springs pool. Hot springs pool was great, but we wanted to jump into a regular pool to cool off after a long hike. Everything else was great. Hotel staff very friendly, food was awesome, and rooms were very nice."

"Our room (204) was very comfortable. And if it had not been for continuous cloud cover, we would have had a perfect view of the Arenal volcano. The grounds were very well maintained, and it only required a quick call to the front desk for a golf cart shuttle to the main lobby. If it wasn't raining, we prefered to walk!!"

"The property is beautiful, the grounds are very well maintained. Everyone from the checkin staff to the bellman were cheerful, attentive and very helpful.
We enjoyed having the breakfast buffet included. The servers at the swim up bar were so friendly and fun.
The spa is beautiful and very clean. One of the best massages I have had and the price (for a resort) was very reasonable."

"Great hotel. The mattress were a little firm and you can easily hear voices from the room next door. But the room was great. I had free WiFi which was very important to me. Breakfast buffet was good, lunch and dinner was okay. The staff were awesome. "
