"This resort was so much FUN!! The damp weather did not deter us from enjoying the pools and water slide( good to know we were not too old for this!!) We loved the grounds and opportunity to walk and enjoy nature all around us. Rooms were beautiful, we had two views from our superior rooms, well worth the decision to stay there. "

"This was our favorite hotel, great choice Katia! The grounds so beautiful and buffet breakfast great. We enjoyed watching the horse running up the street in front of our room in the morning from the barn to the front stable alone with the stabel hand controlling them only with his voice, no ropes or anything!"

"Great view! Privacy. Really good breakfast buffet. Pools were really wonderful. Only problem was that our room key did not work. We had to walk down to the reception and back up the hill to our room 3 times before they got it to work. "

"Katia booked us a wonderful room with an outstanding view. I know we had a much better location than many other guests. Los Lagos was a very nice resort hotel, but we probably enjoyed the uniqueness of the other hotels better. Drinks etc. did tend to be expensive, but that may have to do with location."

"Great location, beautiful gardens, lots of wild birds and their little animal habitats were cute. Our room was a nice size and very quiet. Pools were clean and warm. Drinks were a bit pricey but pretty much what we expected."

"Perfect of the setting. Simple and clean room with great views. My kids loved it. We were rarely in the room anyway but when we were it was fine for us. The restaurant staff was great! Wish I could remember all their names but Jessy (hostess) stands out. The drivers were very friendly in giving us a ride back from La Fortuna. My kids loved the slide and pool. Oh and the property dog Duque! hahaha... Overall I'd go again for sure."

"The Los Lagos hotel was quite nice, although the rooms were tiny and there were quite some bugs around, but, hey, it is basically in the forest with beautiful gardens and thermal springs, so we really did not mind couple of mosquitoes. Their restaurant is pretty good as well!"

"Loved the location of the room at the top of the hill (thank goodness for the prompt shuttle service), so quiet and close to nature. We found it commendable that there were recycIing bins everywhere and that solar power was used for every building."
