"Mountain Paradise Hotel was a pradise! We loved it! it was definetly a treat to have been received with a refreshing watermelon drink once we got there. The gate guard had our name on the list on it and made us feel very safe knowing only people with reservations could enter the place. The volcano view was awesome, a little cloudy with fog in the morning but once it cleared up we were delighted to have made the efforts in the trip to get there. "

"This hotel was fabulous. The private jacuzzi tub on the patio was wonderful, particularly since we had hummingbirds buzzing around the nearby flowers as added entertainment. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the staff were very friendly and professional."

"The Arenal area is beautiful and the hotel is wonderful. Staff is unbelivable. Food was very Costa Rican (typical)and delicious. Room exceptional. Had evening drinks and morning coffee on private patio / hottub with humminbirds. View of Volcano wonderful. Front desk staff and dinning room staff very attentive and extreamly helpful. Will stay again and highly recommend."

"Apparently when I called to reserve a place in October, I was already late. All of the 5-star and all of the other 4-stars were booked so we stayed at Mountain Paradise because that was all that was left. We are so glad we did! Our family loved the private pool, the rooms were spacious and the staff was great! We would definitely stay there again ( by our choice next time)."

"I believe that we were upgraded at this hotel because we had more than a junior suite. There were two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. The suite was luxurious and grounds were very beautiful with tons of flowers and hummingbirds. We enjoyed the hot pool and found the whole place exotic. The staff was very helpful and friendly."
