"The Arenal volcano hike was interesting and something that we enjoyed a great deal. The tour guide was very knowledgable and patient with some unruly guests who were in our group. The Tabacon hot springs was not as enjoyable. Going at night didn't allow us to see the gardens and it was difficult to see once in the water. The meal was satisfactory." Mar 2011

"The volcano hike was excellent and our guide was , again, very knowledgeable. The Tabacon springs were very dark so going in having not seen them in daylight was a bit scary and, because the ground is natural, at times we could not tell where to step and got cut on the rocks. I would prefer to go in the day time where I could see where I was going. However, I would go back." Mar 2012
