La reserva es un paraíso para los amantes de la vida silvestre, donde se pueden ver tres especies de monos, toneladas de aves residentes y migratorias, perezosos, caimanes, tortugas y tiburones.

Su día comenzará con un viaje a Río Frío por hora y media, donde su aventura le estará esperando. Realizara un tour a lo largo  del río durante cuatro horas en un safari flotante, donde tendrá la bella oportunidad de observar el exuberante bosque lluvioso tropical y la vida silvestre. Ni siquiera cuando tomen un descanso para almorzar su aventura se detendrá.

Esta inolvidable excursión  es probablemente el punto culminante de sus vacaciones en Costa Rica. Se aconseja a los aventureros llevar ropa ligera, repelente de insectos, bloqueador solar, cámara y binoculares. El sito ofrece alimentos y bebidas.
