"I must admit I thought a guide was a waste of time to traverse a forest trail, I'm a hiker myself. However, I was never so wrong! Our guide was knowledgeable about so many details I would have missed, he made the whole forest come alive for us. I saw other unguided hikers on the trail and they looked bored!
