"Sky Trek is a very proffesional and safety concious company. We didn't do the walk we only did the Zip lines. Following being kitted out with you safety equipment and given a safety brifing, you are taken up the mountain, with a guide in a gondola. From there after more briefings and training you start your desent down the mountain via the zip lines. I hadn't read up much, if anything about the zip wires, and so consequently had no idea just how long they were. The first two are training lines, both about 30m long and not far off the ground, this is OK I thought, image my surprise when number 3 zip line turns out to be 472m (1550 ft) long and 200m (656 ft) above the ground, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! At no point did I feel in danger or unsafe, there were about 20 or so people in our group accompanied by 5 guides, if you wished the guides travelled in tandem with you. There were a further 5 long zip lines varying from 346m (1135 ft) to 760m (2493 ft) high up above the trees with fantastic views and one more short 25 m (82 ft) line to finish. If you do suffer from heights, do not attempt this! A brilliant way of spending a morning" Mar 2012
