"The standard was two doubles so we asked for a king and they upgraded us for free. Staff was very friendly. Fajitas at the bar were very good. Beautiful gardens are available to walk through and spot lots of birds and butterflies."

"We loved the Monteverde Lodge. Staff was one of the best throughout our holidays, especially as they tried to get to know you and use some personal details as to have conversations. The food was really good and again, the staff in the restaurant was most friendly. We upgraded to room with balcony though as the standard room was bit too small. Location was really good (when having own car) and we had some really nice trails in the area and saw a lot, despite the rainy WEATHER."
