"Very pretty and large room. The food was good, but my favorite part was that you could easily walk to the park. We walked down the path with the monkeys which was an awesome site. The next day we walked into town and the paths were beautiful. We took a cab to the main town after our coffee tour and found a nice local bar/restaurant (Bar Amigos) that we loved. (we much prefer local food to the tourist traps). We did a guided night tour of the park which was well worth it!! Very quiet place/hotel"

"Trapp Family Lodge was a beautiful and serene setting that we hated to leave. The food in the restaurant was very very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Visitors should be aware that it is not a walking distance for many people, especially from town to the lodge."

"Our view from this room was one of the highlights of the trip. We looked out over cloud-covered mountains and windswept trees. The staff at the Lodge were absolutely great--very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Again, we would have liked to have been a bit closer to town, but we did enjoy the walk into Santa Elena."
