Canopy Tour Selvatura

El Canopy Tour de Selvatura Park es una de las aventuras más seguras de Costa Rica. Con uno de los cables con mayor longitud en el país, también es el único localizado dentro del bosque virgen. El tour consta de 15 cables y 18 plataformas con espectaculares vistas, atravesando alrededor de dos kilómetros de bosque en combinación con una emocionante aventura, lograra una perspectiva única desde el dosel de los árboles.

Después de una introducción inicial con los equipos de seguridad, los visitantes serán vestidos con equipo de la más alta calidad.  Para luego, empezar con el vuelo a través del bosque. 

Para los verdaderos adictos a la adrenalina, el Canopy Tour Selvatura ofrece opcionalmente el Tarzán Swing, una cuerda de seguridad que lo lanza directo al bosque para no olvidar una aventura esencial en Costa Rica.

Se aconseja a los visitantes traer: pantalones largo, zapatos cerrados y una chaqueta para lluvia por si acaso llueve.

El tour toma alrededor de 2.5 a 3 horas y puede ser completado por personas entre los 4 y los 99 años de edad. Es adecuado para todo el mundo aunque algunas restricciones pueden aplicar, por ejemplo para mayor seguridad hay una limitación de peso de 280 libras y de cintura 120 cm como máximo. (Duplicado)

Para aquellos que buscan un mundo más pacífico de aventura, el parque ofrece los puentes colgantes Treetop, uno de los jardines de mariposas más grandes en todo América, la exhibición de anfibios y reptiles, un jardín de colibríes  y el recién inaugurado Centro de Educación, donde se expone una de las colecciones mas extensas de insectos en el mundo.

El parque de Selvatura es uno de los atractivos más populares en Monteverde. Este sitio comprende una área de conservación de al rededor 850 hectáreas de tierra protegida y el impresionante bosque nuboso virgen, ofreciendo muchas de las actividades favoritas de la región en uno solo lugar.

"This was the ultimate "high" of the entire trip as we zipped down the 13 (not 15 as advertised but enough) lines and ended with the Tarzan swing experience.
